Talking pet goes from YouTube to Hollywood

Taking a killer idea and sticking to it has its rewards it seems. YouTube user klaatu42 takes videos of his pets and either they can speak English or else he overdubs them in a very clever way. Either way the result is funny – check out the “Ultimate Dog Tease” below.

Even better is that in addition to flogging t-shirts and mugs of his loquacious pets klaatu42 – also known as Andrew Grantham – is in talks with Seinfeld writers Alec Berg and David Mandel to make this clip into a movie for Paramount.

Head to Variety for the full details.
